Ashtar answering a question at the 12-12 Teleconference:
Questioner: " I get mad when somebody does me wrong. Are you advising me to not do that?"
Ashtar: "We would suggest that you that feel the emotions as completely as you wish to feel them, and then when you have really gotten into it, take those deep breaths, smell the roses, and be the Love. We are not suggesting that you not allow your emotions to come forth.
"What we are telling you is that you will find that the things that evoke these emotions, that creates your anger, your madness, your frustrations, or whatever, will do so less and less, if you finish the experience, by that we mean if you go past the anger. If you can stand back, look at yourself and say, 'Oh, I am angry.'
"There is a very special saying in the book that my Brother gave. It is the Course**. Do you know the Course? And it says you are not angry for the reason that you think. It may be that the particular incident reminded you of something that happened in another lifetime even.
"It brings up an emotion, and it is the emotion which is the factor that could create some difficulties for you. And so the idea is to be able to observe yourself, recognize that you're feeling the emotion, and when you decide that you don't want to feel that emotion anymore, which is toxic to your being, then start taking your deep breaths.
"We are not suggesting that you totally pass over any emotion that you might have. We are simply suggesting that you get to a point where you will stand back and recognize it, and perhaps you'll even get a slice of where you've been, or why that makes you angry, and you will be able to learn the lesson from it, and you will not have to be in repetition of it."
Questioner: "But the wrong is being repeated."
Ashtar: "But it is a wrong that you are in judgment of, is it not?"
Questioner: "You bet I am."
Ashtar: "Well enjoy your judgment for as long as you choose to be in judgment. And when I say enjoy, I simply mean to recognize it."
Questioner: "Even if I'm being robbed by my government?"
Ashtar: "Well we have all had an opportunity to look at that. Send your government Love and Light and send them on their way."
Questioner: "Don't oppose them?"
Ashtar: "Speak up for what you choose to be for you. Speak up for what you believe to be appropriate. Speak for the changes that you wish to create."
Questioner: "I work for them."
Ashtar: "And work for them, absolutely! Is it not recognized that when you have an anger, if you can put yourself to work in some manner, so as to transform/transmute, or just simply release the cause of the anger, do you not start feeling better, do you not start feeling more lifted in your vibrations?
Questioner: "I feel better when I am working for the right thing."
Ashtar: "There you have it. You're your own witness, and you know what to do. This is not to say that you are ever wrong to feel anger. No one is ever wrong to feel an emotion. We simply don't choose to use right and wrong, or judgment, is another way of looking at it.
"We simply advise you to work upon observing yourself, and then deciding within yourself, discerning and deciding, what is best, and most helpful for you to do. And Love and feeling good about something is always much healthier for you, because you're at a higher vibration, than to simply let it fester within you. Do you know what we mean?
Questioner: "I feel that festering is not what I do. I work."
Ashtar: "Good for you! That is perfect. Keep up the great work that you're doing, because you're doing the mission, and we congratulate you upon that! .."
